Granville Street’s iconic neon-soaked taco bar, The Pawn Shop, is officially hitting double digits. To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, The Pawn Shop is hosting a multi-floor Cinco de Mayo celebration on Tuesday, May 5th, featuring an unprecedented giveaway, all-day specials, and a 10-DJ lineup spanning the entire venue.
Since opening its doors a decade ago, The Pawn Shop has become a staple of Vancouver’s nightlife, known for its irreverent energy and authentic L.A.-style street tacos. This year, they are upping the ante with the debut of the Pawn Shop Gold Card. One lucky guest will win the ultimate prize: four free tacos every single week for an entire year — a $1,000 value.
A Three-Floor Fiesta — The anniversary celebration will span three distinct spaces within the venue: The Main Shop, The Hideaway, and The Loft. Each floor will feature a curated rotation of Vancouver’s top Latin and open-format DJs from 5:00 PM until 1:00 AM.

The 10th-anniversary celebrations coincide with the highly anticipated launch of The PawnShop’s new Spring Menu, which debuted this past Thursday. The new offerings lean into bold, coastal-inspired flavours while maintaining the shop's signature street-food grit. Highlights include the Ahi Tuna Poke-Mex Bowl, the fried artichoke-heavy Green Goddess Bowl, and the debut of Ballpark Nachos featuring a signature Queso Blanco pour and Taki Dust. This menu refresh represents the brand’s evolution as it enters its second decade as a Vancouver culinary landmark.
